Dr. Lindsey Zachary

Dr. Lindsey Zachary

Dr. Lindsey Zachary became an associate veterinarian at Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital in 2022. 
She grew up in Lake Havasu City, Arizona where her passion for being in the veterinary field 
started by working as a kennel assistant at a local clinic. She then graduated with her bachelor’s 
in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2017, followed by her Doctor of 
Veterinary Medicine degree at Oregon State University in June of 2022. During her 
undergraduate and graduate degree programs, Lindsey worked as a receptionist and assistant at 
multiple veterinary clinics furthering her experience in the field. Lindsey’s love for veterinary 
medicine comes from strengthening the human-animal bond by helping people better 
understand and care for their pets. Her special interests include the care of senior pets, surgery, 
and dentistry.  

Lindsey moved to Utah with her husband, Jake, and their 3 pets: Pepper, Harper, and Ace. 
Pepper is a Labrador retriever that loves going on hikes while the two cats, Ace and Harper, 
favor lounging at home. When she isn’t at work, Lindsey enjoys exploring Utah with her 
husband and dog, catching up on her favorite TV shows with her cats, and personal fitness. 

Kyle Hammond, D.V.M.

Kyle Hammond, D.V.M.

Dr. Hammond has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from Colorado State University in 2011. Dr. Hammond has called Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital home since day one of his veterinary career. He enjoys all aspects of practice but particularly enjoys bonding and building relationships with clients and patients.

Dr. Hammond and his wife Ashley have two amazing kids, son Cache and daughter Harper. Their furry kids include Abby a senior Golden Retriever, Moss who is a young Pointing Griffon, and Sigi their Ragdoll cat. Dr. Hammond loves life and enjoys camping and four wheeling and is a die hard fan of his teams, the Denver Broncos, Utah State Aggies, and the Colorado Rockies!

April Adair, D.V.M.

April Adair, D.V.M.

Dr. Adair attended Washington State University of Veterinary Medicine from 2008-2012. She became a part of the Lone Peak family early on in her veterinary education spending the summers here at the practice as a veterinarian intern. She became a full time Veterinarian at Lone Peak in 2013. Dr. Adair loves many aspect of practice including client communications, surgery, and oncology. She has formed her furry family through her special interest in rescue.

Dr. Adair and her boyfriend are the proud parents of Keno a senior Great Dane mix, Maddie an Australian Shepard mix, Sophie a Boxer mix, and Bazinga their tabby kitty. Dr. Adair loves making earrings, spending time with her family, and going to her cabin.

Monica Anderson, D.V.M.

Monica Anderson, D.V.M.

Dr. Anderson has been practicing veterinary medicine for 6 years. She attended veterinary school at Kansas State University and graduated in 2009. Dr. Anderson is our newest edition to the Lone Peak team and is excited for her new adventure. She enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine especially getting to know people and their furry family members, diagnosing conditions, and surgery.

Dr. Anderson come from a large close knit family and loves every minute she gets to spend with them. Dr. Anderson has grown up  with horses and dogs. She currently only has pets of a bigger nature, horses! She loves being outdoors riding horses and camping. She enjoys reading a good book, playing games, vacationing to new places, and being with her family.

Jodi Way, D.V.M. “Owner, No Longer Practicing”

Dr. Way graduated from Colorado State University in 1992. She has been practicing at Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital ever since. She loves being a veterinarian in every way. She particularly enjoys dentistry, diagnostics and especially enjoys seeing clients and their pets in clinic.

Dr. Way and her husband have a daughter and many furry kids which include three cats, three dogs, and horses. She enjoys spending time outside with her family skiing, snowmobiling, boating, and traveling.

We understand your pets are part of your family. As the time comes to say goodbye, having an option to do so in the comfort of your own home is often preferred. This service will be provided by Dr. Kyle Hammond and offered to our clients with limited availability week nights after hours and on weekends. Please contact our medical manager, Mary, at (385) 766-8077 to schedule an appointment or inquire about pricing. Private and communal cremations will be available for this service.

We believe preventing health issues is the key to a long and life for your pet. Yearly exams, vaccines, blood analysis, and parasite prevention are all part of our comprehensive preventive care program. We provide client education to help you make good choices in your pet’s care and keep your pet healthy between visits.

SICK PET CARE

Despite owners’ best efforts, sometimes pets get sick. We have in-house diagnostic tools and specialists available to help find out what’s wrong—fast. Once treatment is prescribed, we check in regularly by phone and provide attentive follow-up care.

Our hospital provides the kind of individualized attention during sterilization surgery that your pet simply won’t get anywhere else. Your pet will have their own assigned technician to monitor them every step of the way during surgery and as they gently come out of anesthesia.

Maintaining healthy teeth is critical to your pet’s overall health.  Our approach begins with a thorough anesthetized cleaning, exam and full-mouth digital x-rays. If oral surgery is deemed necessary after the evaluation, we consult with you and give you choices for care before proceeding.

We are your one-stop location for complete pet care, including professional grooming. Our staff of experienced groomers bathe, dry, clip and snip with loving care. Your pet will be more comfortable, maintain a healthy coat, and look stylish too!
